Beer batter – goes great with fish

Ingredients – as required | Cooking time 60 mins
- 200g plain flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 300ml dark beer
- Sea salt
Method
- Sieve the flour and baking powder into a large clean bowl and add salt to your personal taste.
- Using a whisk, slowly stir in the beer. Continue to whisk until the beer batter becomes a smooth consistency.
- Allow the batter to stand for 40–45 minutes before use.
