Waldorf salad

This salad recipe is for a Waldorf salad.  This Waldorf salad is a famous salad and uses apples, celery, walnut, celeriac, mayonnaise, double cream and lemon juice.


Getting everything ready


  1. In a large clean bowl, mix the walnuts, apple, celery and celeriac.  Add the mayonnaise and soured cream.  Season to taste and mix well.
  2. Divide the lettuce leaves between the plates.
  3. Neatly add the Waldorf salad to each plate.
  4. Garnish the Waldorf salad with a little chopped parsley.

  • 2 Cups - Organic Plain Flour2 eating apples
  • 100g celery
  • 100g walnut halves
  • 100g celeriac
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon double cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley
  • A few cos lettuce leaves
  • Sea salt / pepper
