This batter recipe shows how to make a Yorkshire pudding batter. Once you have made this, you can make fantastic Yorkshire puddings
Ingredients – 6/8 puddings
- 3 large eggs
- 125g plain flour
- 150ml milk
- 25g beef suet
- Sea salt / pepper
Method
- Break the eggs into a large clean bowl. Whisk them well to aerate — we need to get as much air into the mixture as possible.
- Carefully whisk in the milk.
- Sieve the flour into the bowl and mix to a smooth batter. Always try to keep as much air as possible in the Yorkshire pudding mix.
- Add the beef suet, season with salt and pepper and give it one last mix before allowing the Yorkshire pudding mix to stand for about an hour before using.
