Bacon rolls

Bacon rolls are a great accompaniment to many dishes.  This is a simple bacon recipe that only takes a few minutes to prepare and cook.  Cooking bacon in mini rolls presents the bacon nicely on any dinner plate.


1 bacon raster per roll


  1. Place the rashers of bacon flat on a chopping board.  Cut away any rind and excess fat and check that there are no small pieces of bone. You can easily remove these with the point of a sharp knife.
  2. Carefully roll the bacon rashers into small round parcels.  Place on a clean baking tray and keep in the fridge until required.
  3. When required, place in a pre-heated oven at 190°C (Gas Mark 5) for around 15 minutes.
