This salad dressing recipe is for vinaigrette. This vinaigrette dressing recipe makes a salad dressing that will be a favourite for many.
Ingredients – Serves 1
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- Sea salt / pepper
- Put the mustard into a clean bowl. Whisk in the vinegar, add the sugar and lemon juice, and slowly whisk in the oil. Season to taste.
- Transfer the vinagrette dressing to a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Label and date the vinaigrette dressing and store in the fridge. It will keep for up to 2 weeks.
Always give the vinaigrette dressing a good shake before use.
