This vegetable recipe is for baby corn. Often referred to as baby sweet corn or baby sweetcorn, this is great served with stir fry dishes.
Method
- Place the baby corns in a colander and wash well under cold running water. Then, allow to drain.
- Place a small amount of water in a saucepan on the hob before bringing to the boil. Then, add salt to taste and carefully add the baby corns.
- Bring the water back to the boil, turn down the heat and allow to simmer for about 15–20 minutes until the sweetcorn is cooked.
- When cooked, remove the baby sweetcorn from the heat and drain in a colander. Then, place in a warmed dish or on warmed plates before adding a knob of butter and serving.
